I spent this morning watching Pete Carney’s Adventures by Carney stream: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EYdjQn-HrjI .
I love visiting Disney Springs, especially at night. To be honest, I don’t think you’ve visited Disney Springs until you’ve visited it at night. During the day, there’s the obvious shopping, entertainment (movies, performers, etc) and gorgeous views out into the lake. But at night, the atmosphere is electric – there’s musicians, lights, so many vendors setting up and food trucks offering a huge range of interesting food – it’s a party atmosphere very comparable to the Magic Kingdom Halloween or Christmas parties.
At about 26 minutes in, he visits some food trucks – I can accurately say that the food trucks at Disney Springs are amazing. One time I was there, I had a taco that was served up like a ice cream cone: tortilla folded into a cone and deep fried, with the rest of the taco ingredients piled into the cone. It was very delicious and very easy to carry around to eat and see the rest of Disney Springs.
Another great spot in Disney Springs is the AMC theater – one time I was at Disney Springs when it started raining, and raining hard. So I ran to AMC and waited out the storm by watching a movie. The AMC there is not like most theaters – it has plushy, executive style seats, food delivered to your seat directly, to sum up: very sit-down restaurant style service. The food is essentially bar style food – flatbread pizza, burgers, etc – but served up in large and comfortable portions. It’s pretty good food too.
Definitely worth checking out the video linked above and making sure you visit Disney Springs in the future!
