I thought it was Valentine’s Day yesterday by the love I saw for the PeopleMover. If you didn’t know, the PeopleMover in Magic Kingdom reopened on Sunday after a long refurbishment.
There were plenty of articles in the Disney press, but the most remarkable one is the livestream from the ResortTV1 channel, who spent 11 hours livestreaming various views of the PeopleMover and little else.
So many people love the PeopleMover despite (or perhaps because of) its’ simplicity. Perhaps the PeopleMover is so beloved because it’s the perfect people-watching venue: a spot where you can sit back and just watch everyone moving around the Magic Kingdom.
