I saw this Twitter post What NEW thing are you most excited about in Disney World in 2023? and thought: definitely the water Moana-themed areas in Epcot that are supposed to open up this year. A lot of peopled mentioned TRON which looks to be a great ride, but honestly I love The Seas section in Epcot and I hope the water gardens get more people interested in that section.
I’m a big fan of the Muppets and PizzeRizzo, so I was delighted to see this picture posted on Reddit. Two for the price of one!
I was updating the section on resorts in this guide, and I was thinking how hard it is to pick a deluxe resort. I love Art of Animation as a value resort, Coronado Springs as a moderate resort, but when you hit the deluxe resort level it’s so hard to pick a favorite. I love each deluxe resort for something different: I love Contemporary for being walking distance from Magic Kingdom, Yacht/Beach/Boardwalk for being walking distance from Epcot and Hollywood Studios, the theming of Animal Kingdom, the food at Riviera, the lobby at Wilderness, and so on.
Sometimes I think of each resort as its own tiny theme park; especially Wilderness Lodge with its host of different activities available such as boating, fishing, and horseback riding.
Just some random thoughts while thinking about deluxe resorts.
