WDW News Today reviewed one of my favorite hotels, Coronado Springs Resort. Their review repeats the same reasons why I love this hotel, and recommend it as a Moderate hotel choice along with Port Orleans French Quarter.
There’s a couple of areas I want to focus on, and the first one is at 7:22 into the video where Tom shows the window view outside of the building. It’s just a gorgeous, gorgeous view, and frankly one of the best views you’ll get in Disney World. Another excellent view? The top of the Gran Destino Tower in Coronado Springs Resort hosts the Toledo restaurant, with fantastic views of the surrounding Disney World area – on good days you can see the Epcot fireworks while dining! Dining there? I strongly recommend the braised chicken and the chocolate mousse.
Next, look at the bathroom areas. The bathrooms in Gran Destino are equal in size, or slightly larger, than the bathrooms in deluxe size resorts such as the Contemporary or Yacht Club. I often call this resort a deluxe resort with a moderate price tag, and it’s because of reasons like comparable bathroom sizes. For a comparable view, here’s a review of Disney’s Beach Club Resort King Bed room – you can see the bathroom is pretty comparable yet the Beach Club is a deluxe resort.
Coronado Springs is a fantastic resort, and I strongly recommend it if you’re looking for a great resort at a terrific price point.
